What do you specialize in?
At HQ Dontics, we specialize in multiple areas of dentistry, with a strong focus on prosthodontics, which is the area of dentistry focused on dental reconstruction. We also work with other dental specialists who can help us provide the support you need to restore your dental health.
What is your office environment like?
We try to be fun. We try to make the experience great for our patients so everybody feels comfortable. We know that the dentist is not always a fun place to be, but we try to create an environment where everybody feels welcomed and understood. Whatever your needs may be, we try hard to make our patients feel at home.
We are also a bilingual dental office, and our team is fluent in both English and Spanish so we can provide assistance in the language you are most comfortable speaking.
What should I expect on my first visit?
On your first visit to HQ Dontics, you should expect a full dental exam by one of our doctors. Most of the time, it's going to be me, so you're going to be meeting me at that first visit. We will usually take some X-rays and 3D images so we can show you what your current condition is, where you are at this point, and where we may want to take you with your dental health.
The first time we see you, we're going to be gathering information. We're going to get to know each other, learn exactly what you're looking for, and determine how we can help you achieve those goals. If we have the opportunity during that appointment, we're also going to give you a dental cleaning. Depending on your oral health and individual needs, the type of dental cleaning you need may vary.
What if I am nervous about coming to the dentist?
Many dental patients can be apprehensive when they come in for the first time. But like I said, the first visit is usually going to be a very easy visit where we want to talk to you and get to know you. We want you to get to know us and feel comfortable with us, too.
The first time you see us, nothing should be scary. Even though we know the dental office is sometimes not where we would like to be as a patient, we really try hard to make sure you feel as comfortable as possible. There is no need to be afraid of us. We're here to listen, understand what you need, and help you feel at home.
Can you tell us about yourself and your team?
I'm originally from Venezuela, and I've been a dentist for 26 years now. I love dentistry. I'm all about the details, but I'm also about having fun while we work. Listening to good music is very important to me.
We really pay attention to detail, and my staff is the best. Our team prides itself on being as efficient as we can so we can provide you with the best possible dental care and experience when you visit HQ Dontics.
How do you use technology in your office?
Our office is very big on technology. We try to stay at the forefront of what's available while always using technology that has been proven and effective. You're going to notice as soon as you walk in how much technology we have and how it can make your dental experience easier.
Patients who are a little apprehensive about coming to the dentist are also going to notice that much of our equipment and many of our procedures are designed to make the experience as comfortable and non-invasive as possible. Technology is a huge part of our organization and how we care for our patients.
