Who are you?
I am Dr. Hernan Quintero. I'm a prosthodontist, a dental specialist with advanced training in restoring and replacing teeth and managing complex restorative cases. And this is my practice.
What is your specialty?
My specialty is prosthodontics. That includes complex restorative care, dental implants and implant restorations, veneers, and full-arch or full-mouth rehabilitation.
We also work alongside other dental specialists when needed so that different parts of your treatment plan can be coordinated appropriately.
Are you bilingual?
We're fully bilingual in English and Spanish, from the front desk to the chair.
What happens at the first visit?
Your first visit starts with an examination with one of our doctors. Depending on your needs, we may take appropriate X-rays, photographs, or digital images so we can get a clear picture of your oral health.
Then we'll go over what we're seeing and talk with you about what brought you in, what you're looking for, and what treatment options may be appropriate. That first appointment is really about getting to know each other and giving you a clear understanding of where things stand.
Depending on your periodontal health, treatment needs, and the appointment schedule, a cleaning may also be appropriate that day or scheduled separately.
What if I'm nervous about coming in?
If you're nervous about coming in, I want you to know that we're here to listen and understand what's making you apprehensive. No pressure and no lecture. We want to meet you, answer your questions, and help you understand what to expect.
How long have you been practicing?
I've been practicing dentistry for 26 years. I love what I do. I care about the details, and I like to have fun while we work. Good music included.
What is your team like?
My team and I place a lot of importance on attention to detail, clear communication, and helping patients feel comfortable throughout their visits. We work together to keep your care coordinated from the front desk to the treatment room.
What technology do you use?
We use technology when it provides useful information or supports the treatment we're planning. Depending on the individual case, that may include 3D imaging, digital scans and design, and guided surgical planning.
These tools can help us gather detailed information, plan certain procedures before treatment begins, and coordinate different stages of care. Which technology we use depends on what is appropriate for the individual patient and procedure.
